Chocolate Cold Cake

This is supposed to be sickeningly sweet & will be loved by all chocolate-lovers :)

Here's the recipe.

What you need :

  • 225gm McVities biscuits
  • 115gm soft butter
  • 115gm / half cup castor sugar
  • 115gm dark chocolate (if you dont like dark, you can also use light chocolate)
  • 1 egg, beaten
Method :
  • Line base of a springform cake pan or cake tin with silicon paper & butter the sides. (Will do even if u dont have anyone of the above, you can also make this in a simple glass bowl)
  • Break the biscuits & keep aside.
  • Cream butter + sugar in a bowl.
  • Melt the chocolate over a double boiler & add in the butter & sugar mixture. Mix well with a spatula.
  • Add beaten egg & mix well.
  • Add in the crushed biscuits, mix well so that everything is incorporated with each other well.
  • Place this cold cake mixture into the cake tin, making sure the bottom of the dish is well covered by this mixture.
  • Cover with cling film & keep in the fridge for 3 hours.
  • Remove from the fridge & allow it to warm slightly.
  • Separately melt 225gm dark chocolate & drizzle on the top.
  • If you like nuts, you can sprinkle it with an assortment of nuts.
This is a good chocolaty serving for one our those chocolate-craving days ;)

Sandwich Day !!!

Sandwich Day ! Indeed ?!? wasn't aware about the existence of dis day ... but anyways, it was decided dat we would have sandwich for dinner. Jus our normal tomato-cucumber-cheese sandwich. But all this sounded too plain jane for me. So, I sliced sum apples & added them in my sandwich, and I must tell you, the ordinary sandwich did taste a lot better :) :)

You can also experiment with many different ingredients.

Like, did you know, if you buy ur fav chocolate bar, slice it in your plain bread & toast it, you wud get a really yummy toasted sandwich ?!?! Yum... iam drooling already !!
